Request for qualifications for water infrastructure engineering services in Milford.

LEGAL NOTICE Village of Milford, Otsego County, NY Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Professional Engineering Services RFQ #1 - Water Infrastructure System-wide Needs The Village of Milford, located in Otsego County, NY is requesting statements of qualifications to provide professional engineering services for system-wide upgrades and improvements to the Village's public water. Improvements aim to address elevated nitrate concentrations in the source water. Solutions to the issue could include enhanced filtration or a new source well.The engineering services contract will encompass all water system components and appurtenances as needed. Engineering services required, include but not limited to: planning, design, bid assistance, construction administration, onsite-construction observation, engineering during construction, record drawing preparation, and project closeout. The Village is seeking funding through the Environmental Facilities Corporation's (EFC) Drinking Water State Revolving Funds (DWSRF), and possible other sources. Qualification statements will be reviewed and selected according to a competitive review process based on technical skills, relevant project experience, and knowledge of grant/loan funded projects.
