Bids for the term of July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 will be received until the above-stated hour of prevailing time and date at the office of Alyssa Contarino, District Treasurer, East Williston Union Free School District, 11 Bacon Road, Old Westbury, New York, 11568, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the same office beginning March 5, 2026, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Bids must be presented on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and as required by the specifications. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes which are clearly marked on the outside: "East Williston Union Free School District- Cooperative Bid for Storm Drain Cleaning and Maintenance Contract." Bids shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening. Each Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any or all bids, or to accept that bid which, in the Board of Education's judgment, is in the best interest of the School District. The Boards of Education further reserve the right to consider experience, service and reputation in the above-referenced fields. In addition, the Boards of Education reserve the right to consider the financial responsibility and specific qualifications, set forth in the bid specifications, of the prospective bidder in evaluation of the bids and award of the contracts.
