PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Article 9 of the New York State Constitution and the provisions of the Village Law and the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, as amended, there will be a Public Hearing on Monday the 13th day of April, 2026 at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the Village Hall, 123 So. Central Avenue, Valley Stream, New York, to consider the enactment of the following local law: PROPOSED LOCAL LAW 2 - 2026 A Local Law authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law 3-c. The proposed local law is on the Village website www.vsvny.org and on file in the Office of the Village Clerk, in the Village Hall of said Village of Valley Stream, where it may be inspected on regular business days between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. ALL PERSONS INTERESTED shall have an opportunity to be heard on the proposed local law at the time and place aforesaid.
