TOWN OF UNION NEW YORK PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on February 4, 2026 the Town Board of the Town of Union in the County of Broome, New York, adopted a resolution providing authorization for the purchase of highway equipment in and for the Town of Union, Broome County, New York, at a maximum estimated cost of $718,144.70 and authorize the issuance of $718,144.70 in Bonds of said Town of Union to pay the cost thereof, subject to a permissive referendum. An abstract of such resolution, concisely stating the purpose and effect thereof is as follows: FIRST AUTHORIZING, the Town, to expend $718,144.70 for the purchase of highway equipment in and for the Town of Union, Broome County, New York, at a maximum estimated cost of $718,144.70 to and for the Town of Union, Broome County, New York, and authorize the issuance of $718,144.70 of Bonds of said Town of Union to pay the cost thereof. SECOND DELEGATING to the Supervisor, Comptroller, Town Attorney, Commissioner of Public Works and the Town Clerk, to take such additional and further action as is necessary to implement this resolution, and THIRD, DETERMINING that the resolution is subject to permissive referendum.
