NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONSOLIDATED WATER DISTRICT NO. 1 OF THE TOWN OF VESTAL NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Vestal, Broome County, New York, will meet in the Town Hall, in Vestal, New York on February 25, 2026, at 6:00 o’clock P.M., Prevailing Time, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing upon a certain map, plan and report, including an estimate of cost, in relation to the proposed increase and improvement of the facilities of the Consolidated Water District No. 1, in said Town, being the reconstruction and replacement of various water storage tanks, including original furnishings, equipment, machinery, apparatus, appurtenances, and incidental improvements and expenses in connection therewith as applicable, at a maximum estimated cost of $8,578,500. Said capital projects have been determined to be a Type II Action as to each water tank reconstruction and an Unlisted Action as to each water tank replacement pursuant to the regulations of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation promulgated pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”), the implementation of which, it has been determined will not result in any significant environmental impact. At said public hearing said Town Board will hear all persons interested in the subject matter thereof. Dated: Vestal, New York, February 11, 2026.
