WAYNE COUNTY NOTICE OF MEETING NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING Savannah Fire District #1 and South Butler Fire District PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Savannah Fire District #1 in the Town of Savannah and the Board of Fire Commissioners of the South Butler Fire District in the Town of Butler, County of Wayne, State of New York, will hold a special joint meeting on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to explore a potential consolidation of Fire Districts. This meeting will be held at the Savannah Fire Station location at 1770 Rt 89, Savannah, NY, 13146. All Board of Fire Commissioners meetings are open to the public. This meeting is held by order of the Board of Fire Commissioners from both the Savannah Fire District #1 and the South Butler Fire District.
