BID Specifications- Structural Firefighting Turnout Gear For McGraw FireDepartment Procurement of NFPA- Compliant Turnout Gear All bids must be submitted to Village of McGraw 24 Cemetery Street, McGraw NY 13101 by Feb 26th at 4:30 PM Bids will be opened on Feb 27th at 6:30 PM at the McGraw Fire House 7 W. Center Street McGraw NY Contact Shawn Reed, 607-745-6746, shawn43082@gmail.com The McGraw Fire Department is soliciting sealed bids from authorized qualified distributor’s for the supply and delivery of new NFPA 1971(Latest Edition) compliant turnout gear. Each vendor must supply at least 3 references from fire departments currently using the same gear and must demonstrate experience supplying NFPA compliant turnout gear. The Vendor must provide the Following: -Furnish and deliver firefighter turnout coats and pants (and any additional requested items such as helmets, boots, gloves, or hoods) - Onsite sizing and fitting for all firefighters, gear shall be customized to each individual. - Minimum 10 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Repair and cleaning services per NFPA 1851 and supply loaner gear during repairs. -Delivery within 120 days of award and 90 days of order to Village of McGraw 24 Cemetery Street McGraw NY 13101. -Completed bid form, (including itemized cost per set and bulk discount, if applicable). -Manufacturer’s certification of NFPA compliance. All gear must: - Meet or exceed NFPA 1971 (latest edition) for protective ensembles. -Meet OSHA and NFPA 1851 standards for selection, care and maintenance. - Br UL- certified and labeled. -Outer shell material: pioneer Black -Moisture Barrier: Stedair 3000 -Thermal Barrier: Titanium SL2. - Coat features: 3” Scotch lite lime/yellow Trim, Zipper in/ hook and Loop out closure, 2 x 3.5z7” Radio Pocket Left Chest with dual Antenna Notch, Mic Strap Left Chest, Mic Strap Right Chest, Survivor Flashlight Holder Right Chest, 2 x 8x8 Pockets with Fleece lined hand warmers, Nomex wristers with thumb loop, Ara-Shield cuff reinforcements.
