ERIE COUNTY NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF LOCAL LAW Notice is hereby given of the adoption of Local Law No. 6-2024, “A Local Law Amending Chapter 203 of Town of Amherst Code, Known As The Zoning Ordinance, to Rezone 1789 Dodge Road from S-A to R-3 and to Amend The Zoning Map Accordingly”. This Local Law was adopted at the Town Board meeting held July 22, 2024. The property for which this classification is amending is as follows: 1789 Dodge Road SBL #42.00-1-45.2 The Town Board hereby amends its zoning map which is incorporated by reference in the Town zoning code by amending from S-A to R-3, the zoning of 1789 Dodge Road, subject to any conditions imposed by the authorizing resolution; legally described as follows: All that tract or parcel of land, situate in the Town of Amherst, County of Erie and State of New York, being part of Lot No: 52, Township 12, Range 7 of the Holland Land Company's Survey, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the northerly line of the lands conveyed to Eli J. and Doris A. Bongiovanni recorded in Erie County Clerk's Office in Liber 7853 of Deeds at page 327 distant two hundred eighty and twenty-three hundredths (280.23) feet westerly from the easterly line of Lot 52; thence S 89° 52' 30" W along the northerly line of the said Bongiovanni a distance of eight hundred seven and thirty-five hundredths (807.35) feet to the centerline of Dodge Road; thence S 33° 53' 27" VV along the centerline of Dodge Road a distance of four hundred six and twenty hundredths (406.20) feet to the southwesterly corner of the said Bongiovanni; thence N 89° 30' 52" E along the southerly line of the said Bongiovanni a distance of eight hundred fifty-seven and forty-eight hundredths (857.48) feet, said point being in the approximately centerline of Town of Amherst Ditch 26B; thence along the approximate centerline of Ditch 26B.the following courses and distances: 1) N 43° 02' 20" East distance of eighty-three and five tenths (83.5) feet, 2) N 60° 40' 20" East a distance of one hundred twenty-five and seventy-three hundredths (125.73) feet, N 02° 43' 40" East a distance of two hundred five and eighty hundredths (205.80) feet to the point of beginning.
