PUBLIC NOTICE SOLICITATION FOR SEALED BIDS FOR GROUNDSKEEPING SERVICES The Town of Franklin, Franklin County, NY is accepting SEALED BIDS for municipal groundskeeping services. Duties include bi-weekly mowing of four cemeteries, Kate Mountain Recreational Park, Franklin Town Hall and Merrillsville Town Hall. Ride-on mowing where applicable and push mowing where ride-on is not appropriate, weed whacking around all gravestones, buildings and obstructions. Work will also include maintaining two recreational trails at Kate Mountain Park. Mowing bid to include spring and fall cleanup of cemeteries and grounds and the pick-up and removal of fallen branches, debris and other detritus as needed. The bid should reflect a total amount for mowing for the entire season (May 15 – September 30) and clean ups, pricing per occurrence for additional mowings, and an hourly rate for additional work. All bids MUST be sealed, marked Groundskeeping Services and accepted by Amy McCormick, Town Clerk. All bids MUST include a certificate of insurance (subject to review and approval), a non-collusive bidding statement, and three professional references. Bids can be mailed to Town Clerk, PO Box 209, Vermontville, NY 12989 or delivered to the Town Clerk in person at the Franklin Town Hall, 7 Cold Brook Road, Vermontville, NY. No faxed, emailed, unsealed or bids delivered to anyone other than the Town Clerk will be accepted.
