Employment Advertisement Town of Herkimer Position: Part-Time, civil service exempt, Custodial/Maintenance Duties: 12 hours per week, Monday –Friday hours are set by Town Clerk. Reports to Town Clerk. Duties include a variety of custodial and light maintenance duties at town office at 114 North prospect Street, Herkimer including all interior duties necessary to clean, dust, wipe, wash, vacuum, mop, office areas, common areas, hall ways, bathrooms, and windows according to schedule. Empty and disposing of trash and recycling materials on prescribed days and everyday type maintenance duties as required. Exterior duties include keeping sidewalks and ramps free of ice and snow and keeping grounds free of trash and litter. Qualifications: High school or equivalent degree. 2 years of custodial experiences. Compensation based on experience.
