LEGAL NOTICE RESOLUTION 2026-01 NOTICE OF PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM EXPEDITURE FROM THE MBR RESERVE FUND Notice is hereby given that the following Resolution authorizing the appropriation and expenditure from the MBR Reserve (Equipment ) Fund , being a Reserve Fund of the Spafford Fire District, for acquiring and payment of the purchase of one 2018 Chevy Tahoe from the Moyers Corners Fire District, was unanimously adapted at the meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Spafford Fire District held on the 21 st day of January 2026, subject to a Permissive Referendum thereon provided by statute. RESOLVED FIRST, that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Spafford Fire District wish to expend from the MBR Reserve (Equipment) Fund the sum of $1800.00 for acquiring and payment of the purchase of one Chevy Tahoe from the Moyers Corners Fire District. The aforesaid amount will so be appropriated from the MBR Reserve (Equipment) Fund, and it is further RESOLVED SECOND, that the action authorizing the said appropriation and expenditure from the aforesaid Reserve Fund is subject to the Permissive Referendum procedures set forth in the Section 6 of the General Municipal Law and in the absence of Referendum Election as provided therein, this Resolution will be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its adoption, and is further RESOLVED THIRD that the Secretary of this Board is authorized to publish a Notice containing the Resolution in compliance with the aforementioned Section 6 of the Municipal Law.
