LEGAL NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Lake Mohegan Fire District, PO Box 249, Mohegan Lake, NY 10547, or at the District Office located at 1975 East Main Street, Mohegan Lake, NY, no later than March 11, 2026 for the 2026 Lawn Service and Outdoor Maintenance Program for the following Fire Stations: Hollowbrook Fire Station, 1130 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY Jefferson Valley Fire Station, 500 Lee Blvd., Yorktown Heights, NY Furnace Woods Fire Station, 260 Croton Avenue, Cortlandt Manor, NY Commences April 15, 2026 to December 15, 2026. Complete clean-up of property Rake and blow all areas clean Rake sand from lawns left from winter, sweep sand off all curbs and sidewalks Clean out all shrub beds of debris Prune plants in April from winter damage Cut lawns weekly and as needed Trim grass and edge walkways Sweep and blow along walkways and roads Fertilize lawns three times Apply crabgrass preventer to lawns in April Apply weed killer to lawns in May Apply weed killer in beds, driveways, along walkways and base of curbs Complete leaf clean-up in October and November Prune ornamental trees in early December Re-mulch Trim hedges and bushes Bids will be opened at the monthly meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners on March 12, 2026, 7:00PM, at the Jefferson Valley Fire Station, 500 Lee Blvd. Yorktown Heights, NY.
