PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF PORT CHESTER EDGEWOOD PARK PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS BID No. 2026-05 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Village of Port Chester until Friday, March 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. local time at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York 10573, at which time and place sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for Bid- No. 2026-05 - Edgewood Park Playground Improvements.” No bids will be received or considered after the date/time stated above. Plans, Specification and Contract documents may be procured at the Office of the Village Clerk, 222 Grace Church Street, Port Chester, New York beginning on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. and available on the Village’s web-page www.portchesterny.gov/Bids.aspx or in person at the office during regular business hours. All bids must be submitted by USB flash drive and a single, original hard copy both contained in a sealed envelope clearly marked: BID No. 2026-05 - Edgewood Park Playground Improvements Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. In order to perform public work, the Successful Bidder and Subcontractors prior to contract award shall hold or obtain such license as required by State statutes, and Federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. Bids will not be accepted from Bidder’s determined to be Non-Responsive by the New York State Office of General Services. This Project is a “Covered Project” under New York State Labor Law 220-I and the Bidder must hold a valid Certificate of Registration from the New York State Department of Labor to submit a Bid and at all times for the duration of the Work. Purchases made by the Village of Port Chester are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request. No pre-bid conference will be held for this Project. Bids that do not comply with the above submission requirements will not be considered.
