BOARD OF EDUCATION PETITIONS HOLLAND PATENT CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT The Board of Education of the Holland Patent Central School District announces that petitions are available for members of the community desiring to file for the vacancy caused by the expiration of the term of Michael Garrett. Mr. Garrett’s term of office on the Board of Education expires June 30, 2026. Petitions may be obtained beginning March 9, any weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the District Office located in the Annex in the Village of Holland Patent. The petitions must be signed by at least 25 qualified voters of the district and must be returned by April 20, 2026 by 5:00 p.m. before the election which will be held on May 19, 2026. ELECTION OFFICIALS Anyone interested in serving as an election official for the Holland Patent Central School District Annual Election and Budget Vote on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, should submit a letter of interest to the Holland Patent Central School District, Attn: Valerie Marris, District Clerk, PO Box 306, Holland Patent, NY 13354 prior to March 16, 2026.
