ERIE COUNTY NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW TOWN OF AMHERST PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Amherst on March 23, 2026 at 7:00 p.m., prevailing time, to hear all persons interested in following: (1) a proposed Local Law/Ordinance that would Amend the Town Zoning Map and Land Use Classification of 5122 Sheridan Drive from R-3 (Residential District Three) to NB (Neighborhood Business District) and (2) to evaluate the potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed action in accordance with the State Environmental Quality Review Act and Chapter 104 of the Code of the Town of Amherst. The property described above is as follows: 5122 Sheridan Drive SBL #69.09-2-10 Petitioner – Bulent Cosan The Town Board hereby amends its zoning map which is incorporated by reference in the Town zoning code by amending from R-3 to NB the zoning of 5122 Sheridan Drive, subject to any conditions imposed by the authorizing resolution; legally described as follows: All that tract or parcel of land, situated in the Town of Amherst, County of Erie and State of New York, being part of Lot No. Fifty-Four (54), Township Twelve (12), Range Seven (7) of the Holland Land Company's Survey, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said Lot No. 54, at a distance of 974.50 feet west of the southeast corner of said lot, measured along said southerly line thereof; thence north and parallel with the easterly line of said lot, a distance of 350 feet to a point; thence westerly and parallel with the southerly line of said lot 100 feet to a point; thence southerly and parallel with the easterly line of said lot a distance of 350 feet to the southerly line of said lot; thence easterly along the southerly line of said lot, a distance of 100 feet to the point or place of beginning.
