ERIE COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF CLARENCE, ERIE COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Clarence, Erie County, Industrial Development Agency will hold a second public hearing April 16, 2026, at 8:15 am at the Clarence Town Hall, One Town Pl, Clarence, NY 14031, to consider the following proposed increase in financial assistance requested of the Agency. WHITELEDGE PROPERTIES LLC (the “Company’) - Request for Agency assistance in the form of a lease with mortgage transaction in an amount not to exceed $8,250,000.00. The assistance contemplated by the Agency will include mortgage tax abatement up to $47,250.00, sales tax exemption up to $402,500 on any materials and/or equipment and real property tax abatement pursuant to a 7-year PILOT in accordance with the Agency’s Uniform Tax Exemption Policy. The Company requests assistance in connection with the construction of 35,000 square foot mixed use building located at 9105 Sheridan Dr., in the Town of Clarence, NY and the Clarence Central School District (the "Project"). The Project will allow the Company to expand its current business and increase its level of employment, making the project affordable and keeping the Company in the Town of Clarence. The Agency will present information related to this application at the hearing. Persons interested may attend and will be given an opportunity during the hearing to make statements. Also written comments may be submitted to the Agency at or before the hearing. A copy of the Company’s application is posted on the Agency website at: www.clarenceida.com .
