TOWN OF COLCHESTER NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Colchester on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 5:00PM at the Town Hall, 72 Tannery Road, Downsville, NY 13755, regarding proposed Local Law #1 of the Town of Colchester for the year 2026; A LOCAL LAW IMPOSING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS, at which time all persons wishing to speak in favor of or against said proposed local law or any part thereof shall be heard; TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the significance of said proposed Local Law will be reviewed by the Town Board of the Town of Colchester incident to and as a part of said Public Hearing. Copies of said proposed Local Law are available for review at the Town Clerk's office, 72 Tannery Road, Downsville, NY 13755, during regular business hours; TAKE FURTHER NOTICE; the regular scheduled Board Meeting will be held immediately following said Public Hearing.
