NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PURSUANT TO SECTION 202B OF THE

STATE OF NEW YORK TOWN LAW

RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSED WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

PROJECT TOWN ROADS (AREAS C AND D)




PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to Section 202b of the State of New York Town Law, a public hearing will be held in connection with the Proposed Water Main Replacement Project Town Roads (Areas C and D).




The proposed water main replacement project will replace approximately 5,300 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main along Reber Street, Brent Street, Martin Place, Campbell Drive and Charles Place in Albany, NY (to be collectively referred to as Area C) and replace 2,000 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main along Morris Road in Schenectady, NY from 34 Morris Road to 136 Morris Road (to be collectively referred to as Area D). The particulars of the project are set forth in the engineer’s report on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. The maximum amount to be expended for the aforementioned improvements is Three Million Six Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars and 00/100 ($3,687,578.00).




This public hearing was originally called for on March 12, 2026 pursuant to Town Board Resolution No. 114 for 2026 and was scheduled for March 26, 2026 and adjourned pursuant to Town Board Resolution No. 127 for 2026. Said public hearing will be held in the Memorial Town Hall, Latham, New York on April 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., at which time and place an opportunity will be given to all persons interested in being heard on the proposed project.
