PUBLIC NOTICE TOWN OF COLONIE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PURSUANT TO SECTION 202B OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK TOWN LAW RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSED WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT NYSDOT ROADS (AREAS A AND B) PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to Section 202b of the State of New York Town Law, a public hearing will be held in connection with the Proposed Water Main Replacement Project NYSDOT Roads (Areas A and B). The proposed water main replacement project will replace approximately 10,500 linear feet of 12-inch diameter water main along Loudon Road (NYS Route 9) in Loudonville, NY, from Turner Lane South to the City of Albany Line as well as an additional 550 feet of 8-inch water main on Colonial Green Road beginning at Loudon Road. The section of water main along Loudon Road is located within the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) right-of-way (to be collectively referred to as Area A) and replace 3,600 linear feet of 8-inch diameter water main along Boght Route (NYS Route 9R), from NYS Route 9 to Baker Avenue. This section of water main is also located in the NYSDOT right-of-way (to be collectively referred to as Area B). The particulars of the project are set forth in the engineer’s report on file in the Town Clerk’s Office. The maximum amount to be expended for the aforementioned improvements is Seven Million Twenty-Three Thousand One Hundred Seven Dollars and 00/100 ($7,023,107.00). This public hearing was originally called for on March 12, 2026 pursuant to Town Board Resolution No. 113 for 2026 and was scheduled for March 26, 2026 and adjourned pursuant to Town Board Resolution No. 126 for 2026. Said public hearing will be held in the Memorial Town Hall, Latham, New York on April 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., at which time and place an opportunity will be given to all persons interested in being heard on the proposed project.
