WAYNE COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING THE ANNUAL REVIEW PERIOD FOR INCLUSION OF LAND IN A CERTIFIED AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Board of Supervisors of Wayne County, State of New York, on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 9:05 A.M. in the Supervisors Chambers, Wayne County Courthouse, 26 Church Street, Lyons, New York, regarding the ANNUAL REVIEW PERIOD FOR INCLUSION OF LAND IN A CERTIFIED AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT. The purpose of this hearing is to: a) receive input for the State Environmental Quality Review Act, (SEQRA) determination and b) to consider the proposed modification and consolidation of the District and recommendations of the Wayne County Agriculture and Farmland Protection Board regarding modifications to the existing Agricultural District No. 1.
