Public Hearing Notice ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS Public Hearing Notice TOWN OF CHAUTAUQUA www.townofchautauqua.gov PLEASE NOTE CASE(S) COULD BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE with DATE/TIME PLEASE REFER TO THE TOWN WEBPAGE FOR ANY UPDATES www.townofchautauqua.gov March 17, 2026 “PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Chautauqua, New York, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at 3:30pm, in the Veteran’s Memorial Meeting Room, located at 2 Academy Street, Mayville, New York to consider an appeal of the Code Enforcement Officer’s interpretations of the Town’s Zoning Code dated December 4, 2025, regarding the Sunset View Planned Unit Development Project. The basis for the appeal is set forth in a letter from February 2, 2026, letter from Stephen D. Daly, Esq., of Citizen Environmental Law PLLC, representing Chautauqua Protect, which is an association of local residents concerned about the proposed development. Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Board by way of mail or e-mail via Code and Zoning Clerk, nyacklon@townofchautauqua.gov The application(s) are open for review in the Town of Chautauqua Code office Suite 102 at 2 Academy St., Mayville, New York 14757. Please contact the Code clerk via phone, 716.753.3433 to schedule a time in advance of the meeting date.
