ERIE COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE VILLAGE OF LANCASTER NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Lancaster passed a resolution at their March 23, 2026 Village Board meeting to conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 7:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Lancaster Municipal Building, 5423 Broadway, Lancaster, New York 14086, to consider the adoption of the proposed budget for the Village of Lancaster for fiscal year beginning June 1, 2026 and ending May 31, 2027. The tentative budget was presented to the Village of Lancaster Board of Trustees on March 23, 2026, and a copy of said tentative budget is filed at the office of the Village Clerk-Treasurer and available on the Village website where it may be inspected by any interested person. The annual compensation proposed to be paid to the Village Justice and each member of the Board of Trustees is as follows: Village Justice - $19,380.00; Mayor - $13,160.00; Deputy Mayor - $1,800.00; and Trustee - $10,100.00.
