LEGAL NOTICE





Notice is hereby given that petitions nominating candidates for the office of Trustee of the Woodward Memorial Library must be filed in the Library Office between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., not later than 5 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026.




The following vacancy is to be filled on the Board of Trustees:

Each petition must be directed to the Clerk of the Library, must be signed by at least twenty-five qualified voters of the district, and shall state the residence of the signer of each and it must state the name and residence of the candidate.




A public hearing of the qualified voters of Le Roy Central School District will be held in the Community Room at the Woodward Memorial Library, 7 Wolcott Street,

Le Roy, New York on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. for the presentation of the 2026-2027 budget.




And notice is also given that a copy of the statement of the amount of money which will be required for the ensuing year for library purposes may be obtained by any taxpayer in the district during the seven days immediately preceding the budget vote, except Saturday, Sunday, or holidays, at the following place during the hours designated:




Woodward Memorial Library – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.




Voting on the 2026-2027 Proposed Budget and for the election of Trustees of the Woodward Memorial Library will take place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, between the hours of Noon and 8:00 p.m. at LeRoy Elementary School Media Center.
