Legal Notice # 21932024 LEGAL NOTICE TO THE TAXPAYERS OF THE JERICHO FIRE DISTRICT: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the JERICHO FIRE DISTRICT, Town of Oyster Bay, County of Nassau, State of New York, on the 9th day of April, 2026, subject to permissive referendum as provided for by the General Municipal law. An extract of the resolution is as follows: THE JERICHO FIRE DISTRICT SHALL INCUR THE COSTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION A NEW GENERATOR AT THE STATION NO. 2 BUILDING AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT AND WORK AT A COST, INCLUDING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH TRANSACTION NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND ($250,000.00) DOLLARS WITH FUNDS FROM THE BUILDING AND GROUNDS CAPITAL RESERVE FUND. This resolution shall not take effect until thirty (30) days, unless in the meanwhile a permissive referendum as provided by the General Municipal Law is required to be held.
