Village of Blasdell Brush, Grass Clippings and Yard Waste Collection Brush, Grass Clippings and Yard Waste Collection within the Village of Blasdell will be held every Tuesday starting April 21, 2026 through November 3, 2026. Brush must be put out prior to 7:00 am NO CALL BACKS · Branches NO longer than three (3) feet in length. NO tree stumps. · Brush must be stacked NEATLY and parallel with the curb · Cans can weigh no more than 50 pounds (no cans larger than 35 gallon) · Small brush MUST be bundled or in a garbage can. · All Grass Clippings and Yard Waste MUST be placed in a garbage can (not the Green Cart) and must be free of trash and refuse and animal fecal matter. · PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ANY YARD WASTE OR GRASS CLIPPINGS IN PLASTIC BAGS – IT WILL NOT BE PICKED UP. DO NOT MIX IN ANY PET WASTE OR FECAL MATTER. NO CONSTRUCTION OR DEMOLITION DEBRIS, NO PRESSURE TREATED LUMBER, NO RAILROAD TIES. · Trees taken down by a private contractor will NOT be picked up. The Village will not pickup materials left by any contractor. · Grass clippings are picked up separately from Brush and Branches and cannot be comingled. · For larger amounts of brush you must contact the Department of Public Works at 822-1921 ext. 19 to make arrangements.
