Village of Dansville Summer Recreation Program

Request for Proposals

Summer 2026




The Village of Dansville is now accepting proposals from contractors, consultants and vendors interested in operating a summer recreation program for the Village during the summer of 2026. While the program is intended for elementary level children and should follow along the lines of previous years, those criteria are a minimum standard. Proposals are encouraged to offer options and be innovative in their scope.




The successful contractor, consultant or vendor is responsible for coordinating space and support for the program. The Village is planning on a $25,000 budget for the 2026 program. Differences in program expenditures and funding are expected to be made up by the successful applicant.




Proposal:




All proposals must include the following:




 * The programs intended to be offered. * Include location, days per week if not just Monday through Friday, hours of operation, and dates to open and close.
   
   




 * Proposed fee schedule or other revenue producing opportunities for program options beyond non-routine programming.




 * Provide a statement outlining how revenues and expenditures will be documented and reported.




Schedule:




Submission of proposals: 4 p.m., May 8, 2026




Selection of proposal: May 20, 2026




Notification of applicants: May 21, 2026 by email
