Legal Notices NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to the New York Town Law, the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York, and the Evans Town Code, the Town Board of the Town of Evans, will hold a Public Hearing on May 6, 2026 at 6:05 p.m. in the in the Evans Town Hall (8787 Erie Road, Angola, NY). The purpose of said Public Hearing is to consider and receive public comment regarding a proposed Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) Agreement and Host Community Agreement (HCA) between the Town of Evans and St. Paul’s Apartments II Housing Development Fund Corp. and St. Paul’s Apartments II LLC in connection with the development of a proposed fifty-two (52) unit affordable senior housing complex to be located on a portion of real property known as 930 Lake Street in the Town of Evans. The proposed agreements could establish a schedule of payments to be made in lieu of real property taxes, and other considerations. The Public Hearing is intended to provide an opportunity for the applicant, affected property owners, and all other interested persons or entities to be heard and to present comments, objections, or other information for consideration by the Town Board regarding the proposed agreements.
