GENESEE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE The Fair Housing Act was passed in April of 1968, and prohibits discrimination in housing due to race, national origin, religion, sec, familial status, disability status, etc. The Town of Darien strongly supports the Fair Housing Act and has declared April to be Fair Housing Month within the Town. The Town understands the importance of acting to further fair housing in the community. Please contact the Town’s Fair Housing Officer to obtain more information regarding Fair Housing and to obtain a copy of the Town’s Fair Housing Plan.
