NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Lee, Oneida County, New York, will meet in the Town Hall, in Lee Center, New York, in said Town, on April 28, 2026, at 6:00 P.M., Prevailing Time, for the purpose of conducting a public hearing upon a certain map, plan and report, including an estimate of cost, in relation to the proposed increase and improvement of the facilities of the Water District No. 1, in said Town, being the construction of improvements to the water distribution system, including mains, pump station upgrades, a new water storage tank, original furnishings, equipment, machinery, apparatus, appurtenances, and incidental improvements and expenses in connection therewith as applicable (Water District No. 1 share) , at a maximum estimated cost of $14,400,000, with an estimated typical cost to the typical property (per EDU) of $660.00. The Town Board has made a preliminary determination that said capital project is a Type I Action pursuant to the regulations of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation promulgated pursuant to the State Environmental Quality Review Act (“SEQRA”), and the Town Board will consider the environmental impact, if any, to be caused by such project. At said public hearing said Town Board will hear all persons interested in the subject matter thereof.
