MARATHON CENTRAL SCHOOL PUBLIC NOTICE Seeking School Board Candidates Petitions are available for a seat on the Marathon Central School Board of Education. The terms of three Marathon Central School Board of Education members are up for election May 19, 2026 at the annual vote. The three candidates will serve three-year terms commencing July 1, 2026 and expiring on June 30, 2029. To be on the ballot, candidates must be qualified to vote in school elections in the Marathon Central School District, must be and have been a resident of the district for at least one year prior to the election , May 19, 2026, and file a petition with 25 signatures of qualified school district voters before 5:00 p.m. April 20, 2026.
