WESTCHESTER COUNTY PUBLIC NOTICE Public Notice – Demolition of Five Historic Buildings and Construction of Community Living Center, Montrose VA Medical Center, 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, New York 10548 NOTICE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking information to inform consultation in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended. VA demolished five historic buildings (8, 9, 10, 11, and 25) on the Montrose VA Medical Center (VAMC) campus in 2016-2019 and is currently constructing a new Community Living Center (CLC) within the demolition’s footprint. Montrose VAMC is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Franklin Delano Roosevelt VA Hospital Historic District.
