SCHOHARIE COUNTY LEGAL NOTICE Town of Sharon Zoning Board of Appeals Notice of Public Hearing Notice is hereby given that the Town of Sharon Zoning Board of Appeals has scheduled a Public Hearing on Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 PM in the Board Room of the Municipal Building at 129 Main Street in Sharon Springs. The Public Hearing is to consider public comments regarding an area variance proposed for Sheila Wilday, 613 Slate Hill Road, Town of Sharon. The property is in Zone RA. The applicant seeks an area variance to build a 24’ x 24’ two-car garage. The Wilday property is .9 acres and has a 6.5’ setback. Town zoning code requires a 50’ setback and a minimum of 4 acres to put in a building. Interested members of the public are encouraged to attend this public hearing and comment. The Town Office Building located at 129 Main Street in Sharon Springs is accessible to people with disabilities.
