ERIE COUNTY NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED LOCAL LAW NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED LOCAL LAW # 1 FOR THE YEAR 2026 ADDING CHAPTER 246 ARTICLE I ENTITLED "TAX LEVY LIMIT 2026" Please take notice that there has been introduced before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sloan on the 14th day of April, 2026, Proposed Local Law #1 for the year 2026 adding Chapter 246 Article I of the Code of the Village of Sloan entitled "Tax Levy Limit 2026" providing authorization for a property tax levy in the excess of the limit established in the General Municipal Law §3-c. for the fiscal year commencing June 1, 2026. Please take further notice that pursuant to Section 20 of the New York Home Rule Law, a Public Hearing will be held on the aforesaid Local Law before the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sloan at Village Hall, 425 Reiman Street, Sloan, New York 14212 at 5:00pm on the 27th day of April, 2026.
