LEGAL NOTICE FOR PUBLICATION ON MONDAY, APRIL 13, 2026 NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL HEARING OF COMPLAINTS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Assessor of the Town of Spencer, County of Tioga, has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been left at Town Hall, 79 East Tioga Street after 1st of May, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the First Wednesday after the 4th Tuesday in May. Tentative Roll can be viewed on Town of Spencer website home page at www.townofspencerny.gov Pursuant to Section 526 of the NYS Real Property Tax Law, the Assessor or her designee will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll at the Spencer Town Hall: Weekdays beginning: May 12, 2026 10:30AM – 2:00PM By Appointment Only May 18, 2026 2:00PM - 6:00PM By Appointment Only May 20, 2026 8:30AM - 2:00PM By Appointment Only May 23, 2026 9:00AM - 1:00PM By Appointment Only Pursuant to Section 525, NYS Real Property Tax law, the Board of Assessment Review will meet Wednesday May 27, 2026 between the hours of 4:00PM – 8:00PM, at Town Hall, 79 East Tioga Street. in said town, to hear and examine all complains in relation to assessments, on the application of any person believing himself/herself to be aggrieved. All applications must be filed on or before 8:00PM on May 27, 2026. Appointments will be scheduled as applications are received.
