PUBLIC NOTICE United States District Court Northern District of New York PUBLIC NOTICE FOR REAPPOINTMENT OF INCUMBENT MAGISTRATE JUDGE The current term of the office of the United States Magistrate Judge Gary L. Favro at Plattsburgh, New York is due to expire on September 30, 2026. The United States District Court is required by law to establish a panel of citizens to consider the reappointment of Magistrate Judge Favro to a new four-year term. A full public notice for the magistrate judge position is posted in the office of the clerk of the district court at Albany, New York; Utica, New York; Syracuse, New York; Binghamton, New York, and Plattsburgh, New York. The notice is also available on the court’s Internet website @www.nynd.uscourts.gov. Comments from members of the bar and the public are invited as to whether the incumbent magistrate judge should be recommended by the panel for reappointment by the Court and should be directed to the attention of the Committee Chair; in care of: John M.
