Legal Notice # 21932184 New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application Date: 03/20/2026 Applicant: ACTION TRUCKING CO INC RALPH PANTONY 3010 BURNS AVE WANTAGH, NY 11793 Facility: ACTION TRUCKING CO INC PROPERTY 3010 BURNS AVE|NCTM 56-258-20 WANTAGH, NY 11793 Application ID: 1-2820-01378/00003 Permits(s) Applied for: 1 - Article 27 Title 7 Solid Waste Management Project is located: in HEMPSTEAD in NASSAU COUNTY Project Description: The applicant proposes to renew and modify the permit for the existing used oil transfer facility to accept household lead based paint waste, increase the storage capacity of the warehouse to match the increased containment capacity, eliminate the 35-day storage limit restriction for used oil, burn used oil in on site space heaters, and discharge nonhazardous liquids to the public sewer in accordance with the Nassau County Department of Public Works Industrial Pretreatment Program. The project is located at 3010 Burns Avenue, Wantagh, Town of Hempstead, Nassau County. Availability of Application Documents: Filed application documents, and Department draft permits where applicable, are available for inspection during normal business hours at the address of the contact person. State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed. SEQR Lead Agency None Designated State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination Cultural resource lists and maps have been checked. The proposed activity is not in an area of identified archaeological sensitivity and no known registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified or documented for the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
