ERIE COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID NOTICE OF PUBLIC BIDDING FOR CONSTRUCTION/RENOVATION OF “DAYROOM” AT FIREHOUSE NOTICE: Clarence Fire District No. 1 at 10355 Main Street , Clarence, NY 14031-0340 , New York is soliciting bids on the construction/renovation of a “dayroom” at 10355 Main Street , Clarence, NY 14031-0340 . All bids must be submitted in writing, sealed, to the following address: CLARENCE FIRE DISTRICT No.1 Attention: Commissioners SEALED BID: Dayroom Renovation 10355 Main Street P.O. Box 340 Clarence, NY 14031-0340 Bid Due Date: April 13, 2026 before 4:30pm. The bid packet may be obtained by contacting Commissioner David Burke by email at: DBurke@clarencefiredistrict.org. Submission of electronic bids is not permitted and will be declared void and rejected. All bids will be publicly opened and reviewed on April 13, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Clarence Fire District No. 1’s firehouse (address above). No decisions need be made on that date. Decisions will be made prior to June 1, 2026. Bids must be firm for ninety (90) days. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as to the true meaning of specifications or other issues, he may submit to the Clarence Fire District No. 1 a written request for interpretation or correction thereof. Requests to be given consideration must be received at least three (3) days prior to the Bid Date. The person submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed document will be made by Addendum only, duly issued, and a copy will be mailed or delivered to each person receiving a set of documents not later than 48 hours prior to Bid Date. Clarence Fire District No. 1 will not be responsible for any other explanation or interpretation of the proposed document. ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH AN AFFIRMED NON-COLLUSIVE BIDDING CERTIFICATION OR WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH AN AFFIRMED SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY AND TRAINING CERTIFICATION OR WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD ALL BIDS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH CERTIFICATION REGARDING THE IRAN DIVESTMENT ACT.
