ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TOWN OF LEE PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that bids will be received by the Town Clerk of the Town of Lee until April 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., and then publicly opened and read aloud at a meeting of the Lee Town Board to be held on such date at the Town Offices situate at 5808 Stokes-Lee Center Road in said Town of Lee, for tonnage not to exceed 6,000+ tons of Item 403.13(A), Type 3, Modified Binder Asphalt concrete, Bituminous Paving to be installed on certain parts of public Town Roadways, Town Park Roadways and Town Facilities Parking Areas as designated by the Town Highway Superintendent, with such product and the application thereof to meet the criteria specified in the specifications for this bid. Detailed specifications and proposals for said bids are available to any interested bidder online at www.townofleeny.org. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that bids must be approved by the New York State Department of Transportation representative, if necessary, prior to awarding of bid. The contract for the installation of, and supplying of, said bituminous paving will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose item meets the specifications, and is approved if necessary, by the New York State Department of Transportation. In a case where two or more bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Town of Lee may award the bid to either of such bidders. The Town of Lee reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise for new bids at their discretion, or to accept the bid best suited to the needs of the Town of Lee. A 10% bid bond, cash or certified check must accompany each bid. All unsuccessful bidders will receive their bid deposits upon the award of the contract. The successful bidder must post a 100% performance bond at the time of the award of the contract. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of the bid opening. Each bidder shall be required to submit a non-collusive bidding certificate as part of the specifications as required by New York State Law and included in the bid proposal.
