INVITATION TO BID PHASE 2 ROOF REHABILITATION at the ONEIDA COMMUNITY MANSION HOUSE ONEIDA , NY Sealed bids will be received between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time Monday through Friday at the Oneida Community Mansion House located at 170 Kenwood, Oneida, NY 13421 and until the Bid Opening at 2:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday, April 29 th, 2026 at that same location. Please note that no bids will be accepted after this time. Bidders must contact Michael Colmey at (315) 794 6512, with 24 hour notice, to drop off bids in advance of the bid opening date. The name and address of the Bidder as well as the project name and Crawford & Stearns' Project #2302 shall be clearly marked on the face of the envelope. Bids may also be submitted by email. If submitted by email, the bid documents shall be sent to Michael Colmey at mcolmey@oneidacommunity.org. The same deadline applies, however. If emailing, the email shall direct that the attachment is not to be opened until the time of bid opening. The email shall also state that the complete bid package has been deposited in overnight delivery to The Oneida Community Mansion House c/o Michael Colmey. The email shall also request that Michael Colmey acknowledge receipt of said email. A Pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site on Wednesday, April 15th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.. Attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended . Contact Michael Colmey at (315) 794 6512 or mcolmey@oneidacommunity.org to schedule additional access to the facility. Contact the Architect (Crawford & Stearns / Syracuse, NY) at (315) 246-4410 for all other questions. Bid documents shall be made available in electronic format only. Contact Jonathan Carnes, Architect at jcarnes@crawfordstearns.com to obtain access to the bid documents. Contractors must contact the Architect in order to be recorded as a bidder and to receive bid updates. The project will be let as a single contract and includes limited slate roofing repairs and membrane roofing installations. The work of the project also includes snow-melt system installation, limited masonry repairs and related restoration carpentry. Wage rates do not apply. A Bid Bond by certified check or other form acceptable to the Owner for Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) will be required. Payment & Performance Bonds may be required per the Instructions to Bidders, and bidders are to provide the additional cost of such bonds as a percentage where indicated on the Bid Form separate from the bid prices. Funding for this project comes in part through an Environmental Protection Fund grant administered by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP). Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women-Owned Business (MWBE) an equal opportunity to participate in government contracts.
