Hardee County Board of County Commissioners YARD WASTE AND STUMP GRINDING SERVICES AT THE HARDEE COUNTY LANDFILL RFP NO. 26-004 Request for Proposals Notice is hereby given that the Hardee County Board of County Commissioners (County) is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide Yard Waste and Stump Grinding Services at the Hardee County Landfill, located at 685 Airport Road, Wauchula, Florida 33873. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to obtain proposals from properly licensed contractors with demonstrated experience in processing yard trash, land-clearing debris, clean wood waste, and stump grinding services, in accordance with the requirements set forth in RFP No. 26-004. Proposals must be submitted electronically through DemandStar and received no later than 2:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Proposals received after this deadline will not be accepted under any circumstances. Submission by facsimile or email will not be accepted. A public proposal opening will occur at or after 2:00 p.m. on February 26, 2026, in the Capital Projects Conference Room, located at 205 Hanchey Road, Wauchula, Florida 33873, and will also be available via Microsoft Teams (Meeting ID: 228 420 399 743 77, Passcode: Zs7ss3LV) as identified in the RFP. The County reserves the right to reject any or all responses, to waive any or all non-material irregularities and technicalities to re-advertise for RFPs, with or without changes in the scope of work, to award in whole or in part to one or more Respondents or take any other such actions that may be deemed to be in the best interest of County.
