Notice is hereby given that the Southwest Florida Water Management District has received an application for renewal of water use permit application number 2002715.030 from Mosaic Fertilizer, LLC and South Ft. Meade Partnership, L.P., 414 West Main Street, Wauchula, FL 33873 to withdraw water from wells and surface waters. Application received: January 16, 2026. Predominant use type: agricultural. Quantity: 3,025,700-annual average gallons per day, 12,989,200-peak month average gallons per day, and 48,768,400-maximum day gallons per day. Location: Sections 2, 25, 26, 34, and 35, Township 32 South, Range 24 East, Sections 7, 17, 18, 22, 23, 26, 30, and 32, Township 32 South, Range 25 East, Section 10, Township 32 South, Range 26 East, Section 24, Township 33 South, Range 23 East, Sections 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 21, 23, and 24, Township 33 South, Range 24 East, Sections 5, 7, 14, 17, 18, 19, 25, and 36, Township 33 South, Range 25 East, in Polk and Hardee Counties. The application is available for public inspection Monday through Friday at 7601 U.S. Highway 301 North, Tampa, Florida 33637 or through the “Application & Permit Search Tools” function on the District’s website at www.watermatters.org/permits/. Interested persons may inspect a copy of the application and submit written objections and comments concerning the application within 14-days from the date of this notice.
