Public Notice-Florida Museum of Natural History NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Florida Statute 267.0723, that the UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA-FLORIDA MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY (UF-FLMNH) has custody of a holding orcollection on loan, that was acquired from several properties located in Collier County, Florida. The collection consists of archaeological materials.The UF-FLMNH wishes toterminatethis loan effective 5/1/2026. Potential claimants of this property must contact the NAGPRA officeat352-273-1943 ornagpraoffice@floridamuseum.ufl.edu todiscuss specific details ofthe locationand to collect or donate this collection within90 daysof the publication of this notice.Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of ownership of this property.Site 1: Horr's Island, (References Acc. 89-22; 89-23; 89-27; 89-28; 89-31 to 89-36), on land onceowned by either Key Orion, Inc. or Marco 58 Developers and recovered in the late 1980s from Blue Hill Creek Drive.
