Full Notice Text
IT IS THE INTENTION of the Board of County Commissioners of Escambia County, Florida to hold a private session with its attorneys to discuss pending litigation in the case of Whitesell-Green/Caddell JV, LLC v. Escambia County, Florida v. DLR Group, Inc., Case No.: 2022 CA 000219, in accordance with Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes. At the conclusion of the private session, the Board will reconvene to announce the termination of the session and may take formal action. Such attorney/client session will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, Board Chambers, 221 Palafox Place, Pensacola, Florida. Commissioners Ashlee Hofberger, Steve Stroberger, Mike Kohler, Lumon J. May, and Steven Barry and, County Administrator Wes Moreno, County Attorney Alison P. Rogers, Senior Assistant County Attorney Will Nelson, and John F. Asmar and Richard A. Fillmore with the Cole Scott & Kissane law firm, and Bradley Copenhaver with VLP Copenhaver Espino, attorneys representing Escambia County in the foregoing litigation, will attend. A certified court reporter will attend and report the attorney/client session.
