ADVERTISEMENT Sealed bids will be received by the Treasurer, Miami East Local Schools, 3825 North State Route 589, Casstown, OH 45312, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on May 12 2026, for the flooring replacement at Miami East K-8 School. Bids will be opened and read immediately afterwards. The Architect/Engineer is Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. (direct all questions to Kent Buehrer), 314 Conant Street, Maumee, OH 43537; 419-893-9021; fax: 419-893-9027. This Advertisement is posted on the District's webpage, www.miamieast.k12.oh.us. A pre-bid meeting and walk-through will be held at 3:00 pm local time, on May 5, 2026, at Miami East K-8 School, 4025 OH-589, Casstown, OH 45312. The bidding documents, including copies of the drawings, specifications, project manual, and bid form, are on file and may be obtained from: Buehrer Group Architecture & Engineering, Inc. 314 Conant Street, Maumee, OH 43537; phone 419-893-9021; email casey@buehrergroup.com at the non-refundable cost of $25.00 per printed set, plus shipping, if requested. Electronic documents available at no cost. Bids shall include, and Bidders shall submit with their Bids, bid security in the form of (i) a bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Board of Education as obligee for the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, or (ii) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54.
