NOTICE The City of Chester is requesting Bids for the inspection, testing, reporting and safe removal of asbestos at four properties for the 2026 Dilapidated Home Project. Property 1 is located at 703 6th St Chester, WV. Property 2 is located at 209 Alpine Way Chester, WV. Property 3 is located at 166 Montana Ave Chester, WV. Property 4 is located at 550 Virginia Ave. Bids will be accepted until Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Bids will be opened and the job will be awarded on April 6th, 2026. Work must be completed by May 20th, 2026. The City of Chester reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. The Bidder must be licensed and in good standing to perform the work described above. The Bidder must agree to acquire a City of Chester business license before work is to commence. Successful Bidder will be responsible for acquiring Air Quality Clearance for each property that requires remediation.
