NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS Sealed proposals for the Fairfield County – CDBG – Village of Bremen - WTP - Softener Improvement Project will be received by the Fairfield County Commissioners at the Fairfield County Record's Center, 138 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster, OH 43130 until 1:00 PM, March 18, 2026, and then at 1:00 PM at said office opened and read aloud. Plans, Specifications, and bid forms may be secured at the Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission Office located at 138 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster, OH 43130. An amount of $25.00 dollars will be required for each set of plans and specifications, check made payable to: Fairfield County Regional Planning. The full amount is non-refundable. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the Fairfield County Commissioners or by certified check, cashiers check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the aforesaid Fairfield County Commissioners. Bid Bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. Bids shall be sealed and marked as Bid for: and mailed or delivered to: Fairfield County – CDBG – Village of Bremen - WTP - Softener Improvement Project. Fairfield County Regional Planning Commission 138 West Chestnut Street Lancaster, OH 43130 Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions. This contract is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended 12 U.S.C. 1701u. Contractors should be aware of the regulations and reporting requirements associated with Section 3. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Fairfield County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. The Engineer's cost estimate without contingencies is one hundred twenty-three thousand one hundred dollars ($123,100.00).
