(Owner) until 11:30 AM (Eastern) on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 and publicly opened and read aloud as follows:TIME AND PLACE FOR RECEIVING and OPENING BIDS IS HEREBY ESTABLISHED: 11:30 AM, Tuesday, April 21, 2026, Aqua Ohio Marion Operations Center, 365 E CENTER ST, MARION, OH 43302Pre-Bid Meeting will be held VIA Microsoft Teams on April 8, 2026 1:00 PM. Meeting Invite will be sent along with the electronic bid packages. Bidders are required to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting to be compliant with Bidding requirements.PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 2026 Lead Service Line Replacement Program, Aqua Ohio TIFFIN Division. This project consists of the replacement of lead service lines on either or both the public or private side of the right-of-way for addresses as noted for customers of the Company. All explorations, excavation, completion of work, backfilling, restoration and final acceptance shall be included in the bidders' cost of the work as described herein.Bids must be accompanied by Certified Check or Cashier's Check or Letter of Credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, or a bond for the full amount of the bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be executed, and a performance bond secured. Should any bid be rejected by the Owner, such instrument will be forthwith returned upon proper execution of a contract. Cash deposits will not be accepted.The bid check/bond should be enclosed in the sealed bid, but in a separate envelope clearly marked 'BID CHECK/BOND' with the Bidders' name & address on the bid check/bond envelope.Each bidder shall ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against due to their race, creed, color, sex or national origin. All bidders must comply with the provisions of the American Disabilities Act. All federal minority business enterprise and women business enterprise requirements shall be met. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall, to the extent practicable, procure Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the delivery of this project.Aqua Ohio, Inc. is an Essential Utilities Inc. Company (NYSE: WTRG) which through Corporate Safety initiatives expressly prohibits the use of cut-off saws while performing any work for the Company within an excavation or trench. This prohibition extends to any and all subcontractors retained by the selected Contractor. A cut-off saw is defined as a power tool utilized in the industry to cut hard materials such as metals (i.e. ductile iron or cast-iron pipe) and is achieved by an abrasive disc, similar to a thin grinding wheel or diamond tip steel blade, and may be powered by petroleum, hydraulics, or pneumatics. This type of saw is commonly referred to as a "demo saw" or "chop saw."Bidders shall submit a list of available equipment, and labor shall be paid not less than the prevailing wage rate as determined by the Davis-Bacon Act specific to Seneca County, Ohio.Electronic packages may be secured, via email to Kenneth P.
