ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDSSealed proposals will be received by the Western Reserve Port Authority until BID OPENING DATE : 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 5 th , 2026 @ the Office of The Youngstown-Warren regional Airport, 1453 Youngstown-Kingsville Rd., Vienna OH 44473, (Terminal)YNG AirportCamera / Access Control Modifications Project consists of the selective demolition and replacement of camera's and access control devices in and around the YNG terminal. Bids shall be based on a unit price bid as shown in the Form of Proposal.Plans and specifications for the above project can be obtained by emailing Randy Partika, Director of Engineering & Construction at rpartika@westernreserveport.com A bid guaranty is required per Ohio Revised Code (ORC) 153.54, either certified check representing ten percent (10%) of the proposal, drawn on a solvent bank, and payable to Western Reserve Port Authority, or a bid bond in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in lieu thereof must accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the Western Reserve Port Authority, in the manner provided by law. Per ORC 153.571, a performance/payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required after the award of the contract.Bids of Corporations not chartered in Ohio must be accompanied by proper certifications that such Corporation is licensed to do business in Ohio.The contractor and all subcontractors for this project must be enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Drug Free Workplace Program or in a similar program approved by the Bureau of Workers' Compensation.The contractor and their subcontractors shall comply with the appropriate minimum prevailing wages set forth by the State of Ohio Industrial Wage Federal Division.Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, sex or national origin.The Western Reserve Port Authority shall reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.A pre-bid meeting will be held, on site, on Thursday, April 23 rd , 2026 at 1:00pm.Please indicate the project being bid (Camera / Access Control Modifications) on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid.
