Trumbull County seeks qualifications from design firms for future projects under $50,000.

LEGAL NOTICE     The Trumbull County Board of Park Commissioners, Trumbull County, Ohio intends to receive Statement of Qualifications from professional design firms for the purpose of creating a prequalified list of professional design firms willing to provide professional design services to Trumbull County for future projects with an estimated professional design fee of under $50,000.  Firms interested in being considered for the first round of prequalification shall submit two (2) copies of Statement of Qualifications no later than 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026.     Statement of Qualifications or Letter of Interest shall be submitted to the Trumbull County Board of Park Commissioners, 3983 N River Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44484, Attention: Zachary Svette, Executive Director.      Factors to be determined for prequalification:•	Competence to perform the required professional design services as indicated by the technical training, education, and experience of the firm's personnel, especially the technical training, education, and experience of the employees within the firm who would be assigned to perform the services.•	Ability of the firm in terms of its workload and the availability of qualified personnel, equipment, and facilities to perform the required professional design services or design-build services competently and expeditiously.•	Past performance of the firm as reflected by the evaluations of previous clients with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and meeting of deadlines.   Responding firms shall be evaluated and ranked in accordance with ORC Section 153.71(A) by the Trumbull County MetroParks.  The prequalification of any professional design firm does not guarantee that the Trumbull County Board of Park Commissioners will contract with or use that particular professional design firm for any particular project.  Prequalification simply means that the firm may be considered for professional design projects with an estimated cost of less than $50,000 pursuant to R.C. 153.71(A).     Attention is directed to all responding firms that Trumbull County adopted a Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace Policy on September 7, 2016, and the terms of the Policy also apply to Contactors reimbursed for services through the County; a copy of the Policy to be part of the Statement of Qualifications along with the “Sign-Off Sheet” duly signed by the firm thereof.     The attention of the firm is directed to the requirement that each Statement of Qualifications must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion affidavit and a Personal Property Delinquent Tax Affidavit duly signed by an authorized representative of the firm.
