LEGAL NOTICE IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS WAYNE COUNTY, OHIO Case No. 2026 CVC-E 000091 Melissa Koch, as Treasurer of Wayne County, Ohio Plaintiff vs. Douglas Wimmer, et al. Defendants. The Defendants, Douglas Wimmer and Unknown Spouse, if any, of Douglas Wimmer whose current address is unknown and cannot be ascertained with reasonable diligence, and whose last known address was 673 Oak Hill Rd, Wooster, OH 44691, Wayne County will take notice that on February 19, 2026, the Plaintiff, Wayne County Treasurer, filed its Complaint in Case No. 2026 CVC-E 000091, in the Wayne County Common Pleas Court, 107 W. Liberty St., Wooster, Ohio, seeking foreclosure and sale of certain real estate located in Wayne County, due to nonpayment of delinquent land taxes, assessments, charges, penalties, and interest in the amount of $10,727.53. Any person, including the Defendant, who owns or claims any right, title, or interest in, or lien upon, said real estate, may file an Answer in the action setting forth the nature and amount of the person's interest and any defense or objection to the complaint. Any such Answer shall be delivered to the prosecuting attorney, within 28 days after the date of this publication. If no Answer is filed, a judgment of foreclosure will be taken by default and such property shall be ordered sold for satisfaction of the tax lien on it. A copy of the title work, giving a complete description of the property, can be obtained at the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.
